First introduced to carving at a young age, watching my dad carve in the garage after he got home from falling trees all day, the smell of sawdust is a endearing memory.

Born, raised and living on Vancouver island i’ve taken much inspiration from the places I live and nature that surrounds me.

The direction of the piece is partially dictated by the grain of the wood, often starting with one intention and becoming something driven by the beauty of the wood as much as my own.
